Troubleshooting my old pc HELP. pc tring to start but does not HELP

Do you know what your temps were like? I don't think it will be but maybe overheating...

Nope it was normal temp about 30 ish as i dont use my desktop pc that much more for gaming and video encoding and it was low temp under 40. Iits not booting up anymore still stuck.

As they are older models your better off looking at auction sites

It's the older H87 boards which I've found a couple on a well known UK auction site for around £60 - £80

If you go to the Auction site and search H87 motherboard you'll get the results I got

Did you try building outside the case as it seems like something is stopping the PSU sending power to the board as you've tried two PSU's

no but their no gpu instaled no memory and the bios battery in not instaled. its still doing that

Install everything like your building a pc normally but out of the case then fire it up and see if it works

I believe you need a working CMOS battery for the PC to boot properly. BICBW

Without a battery, the pc will boot to the BIOS screen.

What have you swapped out? Just the PSU? Failure to boot is processor or ram or video.

You really need to take the motherboard with the CPU installed out of the case. Disconnected literally everything, and test it with anything but the bare minimum of parts connected to ensure it can boot if it is working. That means, just one RAM module, no keyboard or mouse, no hard disk drives or SSD's. Just the PSU to power it, the CPU. If it still doesn't function then you need to look at the board/PSU etc.

I don't have anything hooked up to the computer everything is pulled out. Just motherboard and cpu is left and its still doing that with nothing plugged in. I'm going to buy a new cpu and motherboard and reuse the other parts
