Where do you eat dinner?

Either at my kitchen island/breakfast bar or in front of the TV, occasionally at my PC.

2A and 2C (now teenagers). We've always eaten in the dining room and eating in front of the TV was a treat on a weekend (pizza etc)

Kids these days have a ton of homework and PC's, PS/XBox, mobiles etc and lock themselves away for the whole night if allowed. So eating together is a chance to spend time as a family and have a chat about what is going on in each others lives.

I hope they appreciated/enjoyed this in years to come, i know i do.

I'm not a student but that's what I mostly do too. Sad really, we spend too much time online. I read up on stuff or watch youtube snippets usually. Other choice is the living room. Rarely do I use the dinning room for eating unless have guests. It's more of a skype chat room.

Whole family at the table during dinner or anytime anyone is eating, has to be at the table.

Arm chair or sofa in living room. When we have guests round we'll use the dinning table in the front room.

I ate dinner at McDonald's last night on way to the cinema. Double cheeseburger, chicken burger and an apple pie 40kr. Food from the gods. Malicious, hateful gods.

We call it "informal".

Lunch time is normally a sandwich at the dining table together.
