I have the above (title) computer, Im looking to upgrade the GPU. Some considerations.

- I do some screen recording and use the nvidia hevc function wondering if I will miss this if I switch to amd
- Slightly concerned about driver issues if switching to amd
- I'd like a nice upgrade but dont want to spend to much. Id prefer to spend 350 or less 250 would be better; but it all depends.
- I'm having trouble running some games (even thou I dont game much) but when I do Id like to enjoy them a bit. Kingdom come deliverance, and the new mechwarrior 5 coming out, heck maybe even like to give witcher 3 a go again.
- I could fit a 3 fan card if need be; but run a quite system so dont want a blower card and want a card that has a fan shutoff with low gpu usage.

thanks for your help.

I have a exact same cpu and oc. I used to run 2 R9 290s in crossfire.

An equivalent to the 290s is a single RX 5700 or RTX 2060S. In your use case, it is safer to go nVidia.
