So you lovely people what was the best bang for buck ram on Ryzen 1600x

The system doesn't need silly fast ram(lucky lol) but what was just plug and play, in terms of speed.
was it 2600mhz

TeamGroup stuff the best, buy 2400MHz and maybe overclock it or buy 3000MHz and down clock it, but you may get lucky and it may run happily at 3000MHz.
 
idk if its down to being a good chip, but I was happy to see my 4000 viper steel run at 3600 with my sons old 1600x.

Because Samsung B-Die, on the older gen Ryzen Samsung B-Die was an absolute must and the only way to really achieve 3200MHz or faster stable.

Aye, I should have been more specific in that I have experience of that particular B-die running at high speeds with a 1600x.
