Can anyone comment on the 2080ti ventus ?

Just got a bonus from work and tempted to splash

Was looking at a non tech channel look at the Ventus 2080Ti on YouTube. Not overclocked temps 67 degrees in firestrike and he said fairly quiet fans.

Still the best 2080Ti deal in the UK pretty much:

Zotac GeForce RTX 2080 Ti Gaming 11264MB GDDR6 PCI-Express Graphics Card @ £899.99 inc VAT https://www.overclockers.co.uk/zota...ddr6-pci-express-graphics-card-gx-11s-zt.html

They are nearly all gone now though and my re-buy is above what I am selling them for, so unless Zotac / NVIDIA decide to lower price I won't be buying any more again and shall purely be focusing on the more expensive custom models.

I'm sorry OCUK not in bed with EVGA I had to go elsewhere for a GPU this BF. Please try to get into bed with EVGA Ocuk, on an enthusiast's forum I feel this would go down well with their approach to cooler removal:)

Yup, no buy for me, I’ll wait for Big Navi in 2020.

Im really hoping AMD will give NVIDIA the “bloody nose” they’re currently giving to INTEL.

Nvidia can easily triple AMD's R&D budget. There's no way it will happen without our help unfortunately.

In my opinion, if the market share was split equally 50/50, the 2080ti would be a few hundred pound cheaper. Every tier would be much cheaper because Nvidia would be trying very hard to compete. AMD would also have enough R&D to compete.

Here's hoping. But nVidia are a much bigger challenge than Intel. Intel have had years resting on their laurels little to no innovation and only marginal performance increases. nVidia on the other hand haven't stopped pushing and are full tilt into R&D. It's going to be an uphill slog for AMD to get back into contention unless they come out with a miracle Ryzen-esque phoenix from the ashes monster GPU out of the left field.
