Cafe just cleared on North side of bridge away from bridge. Sterile area on bridge being maintained and casualties still to be removed from bridge.

Latest being reported on 5live

Officers have a right to go home today, if they though the man had explosives i fully support blowing the guys head off wven if he is unarmed.

Possibly - but I guess we need to known the context - I mean was this part of a terror attack gone wrong in which case who cares... why take the risk. They clearly have different rules for potential terror attacks (as we found out when the Brazilian guy was sadly shot no the tube) which tend to involve just outright eliminating the threat.

No point taking the risk with some fanatical manic who may or may not be willing to blow himself up or pull out some other weapon etc...

Yeah there's like 3 people on the guy with the 3 police officers, looks like he's pulled it out of the guys hand and started to back away. I presume the guy still had another knife (or something else) that's why the other guy why on top of him for so long, until he's pulled off by one of the officers. Who doesn't actually do that until he gets tapped by one of them, to do it.

Video I have just seen, shows the Police pulling off a member of the public (I guess), then you see what looks like a puff of smoke coming from where the armed copper is - end of video.

Can't say I noticed the guy trying to stand up - but I wonder if the Police fired just in case the guy was rigged to blow; weren't the last lot wearing vests (though they turned out to be fake)?

No sympathy for the **** though, hope he burns in hell tbh.

Yeah I completely agree, but I would suggest that they should have at least some reasonable belief that he's still armed and shooting to kill is appropriate. In which case I completely support their decision. If it turns out that he was unarmed and posing no threat when shot, however, that's a problem.

In short - agreed, we need to know the context.

There must be more to it, the copper to the left of the suspect had a taser so he could've easily be incapacitated.

It was just reported on 5 live who had a reporter that was in a cafe lock down north of the bridge. Nothing more been reported on Camden since it was mentioned.

Different angle videos see him attempt to get up, it's only brief but they do and then BANG !! See ya !!

Yeah I watched the vid I had back further back and can see that same guy was in the cufuffle and walked away with the knife from the attacker. Smart move.

Maybe concerned about the guy on top of him? But you'd have thought that taser would be the first option as soon as the guy gets pulled off him.
