Hey folks. I'm looking for a card for my daughters PC. Had it running a GTX 780 with the side panel off it for a few months there, however need to get the side panel back on with a card inside.

Only need a budget card for 1080P gaming. Probably Overwatch more than anything.

I looked on PartPicker but some of the cards it says will fit are actually above the recommended size from Corsair, so thought i'd ask here if anyone has actually got one in there already.

either rx570, 580 or 1050ti.

Thanks in advance

Adrian

Depending on your budget, I'd look at a second hand RX570 or RX580, they can be had from £90 - £125 and are very good for 1080p gaming... Some models of the cards come in 240mm length so will fit in OK just not sure about how much they stick out from the board

Thanks for the reply. Yeah that's the problem I'm having, not sure which version/make of these cards fit in and allow the side panel to go on.

Would like the rx570, but again. Not entirely sure which ones fits.

I'm not sure if you can get a vertical GPU mount for all motherboards and GPU's, that would be an option and it will look great in that case

As long as the PCB doesn't stick up from the retainer bracket or extra long to fit 3 fans you'll be fine (290mm maximum length).
I have the Air 240 with a 1080ti and have no issues.

Yeah. all comes back to price. bare in mind she had a gtx780 running all her games at 1080p. Door was off mind you. Currenty looking at the XFX RX570 4gb. Seems good spec for price and it will fit with no trouble.

I have a Air 240 with a MSI GTX 980, One, It was a struggle to put the gpu in as there was no room to actually slot it in the cooler actually hits the case, and two the cooler actually protudes out the case so I have no side panel on, If I'd known this I wouldn't of bothered with this case, Considering it's size there's no excuse that I should be worrying if a GPU can fit.

What worries me when I want to upgrade to another Nvidia gpu.
