Tbh I hope Charles gets a go he does a lot of good stuff without it being in the media’s attention.

Queen Liz II isn't dead. Remember her mother made it to 102 IIRC so she's probably got another 10 years left.

I'm not sure about Prince Charles being next in line though. He's what, early 70s now? That's getting on a bit and he'll be 80 when he takes the throne. Is it better to hand it over to whoever is 3rd in line?

He becomes King the moment Liz dies. He doesn't have to be crowned. Preparations for the coronation will take perhaps a year, anyway.
