Queen not OK rumour/hoax/breaking news?

It just shows that what you write on Social Media can quickly bite you in the bum.
I wrote something on here in 2007 and last December it was used against me because it's still here in the archives.
The bloke hasn't talked to me for 12 months.
 
Our lizard overlords all seem to live to a ripe old age in unimaginable luxury. Do they know something we don't?
 
Has this not been traced back to here yet? It just popped up from ladbible on my facebook news feed having seen this thread this morning. I was expecting the thread to be massive by now and full of tabloid papers.

Nope, although real "investigative" journalism is pretty rare nowadays I'd still expect someone from GD to bubble on Gibbo etc just for the Lulz TBH because that's just how some people are.

You can't claim them i'm afraid.
That group was formed on Mumsnet long before they were members here. If the papers are going to publish anything about the origin, they'll need to mention Mumsnet.
 
OCUK got more traffic when that mobile phone got stolen and became national news.

I don't think she CAN die... I mean, can you think of anyone else who can take over that position without it turning into a farce? None of them seem capable at this point without causing some form of controversy!

Being a Welshman I can't say I care either way but still...
 
I haven't read this whole thread, but if @Gibbo is the originator / purveyor of this rumour, I'd expect HQ to be having serious conversations with him about the negative PR this could attract for CaseKing / OcUK.
 
It’s a common enough nickname, just like lots of people with say the surname Johnson get called “Jono” etc...

Plenty of “lads” WhatsApp groups out there with a “Gibbo” in them.

The group icon/photo tho... :eek::D:D:D

Why, what is William going to do that is special? I like that Charles meddles a little here and there.

What I never understand is why Royals like Harry who is now never going to become king, don't move to somewhere like Aus, NZ, Canada, and reign there (but still under the Monarch in the UK). It doesn't make sense they are all based in the UK.

I thought the Gibbo / Burnsy connection was just a funny coincidence, not that it was actually a WhatsApp group of OcUK members

Could do more harm than good in some cases. I think it was once a plan for Charles to be Governor of Australia years ago. I think the general perception though is that they’d probs not have liked it, would rather just keep the monarchy at arms length and have the Governor post allocated as usual.
