warranty question

i have an MSI GPU thats got no video output, i have contacted MSI and been told ALL warrant claims go to the retailer an to them

i have never had this with asus or gigabyte.
is this normal or just MSI been funny?

True. Recently had to RMA my MSI Ventus 2080ti which initially had to be sent to the supplier for testing. Once the supplier had tested and found to be faulty they then sent off to MSI for repair.

It wasn't a bad experience for me at all to be honest, turnaround was about 4 weeks which was a drag but all in all i felt i received a decent service from MSI and supplier (Not OCUK)

Good luck mate. Nothing worse than the uncertainty of an RMA for a GPU, hope it all goes ok.

Eesh, here's hoping they're competent. I had to go this route with MSI for a GTX 680, wasn't the quickest turnaround (again approximately a month) but the process was smooth.
