why not get a 2070? it's only £370 ish. it's also only 7-8% slower than a 2070 super.
2070 = 2060S
4% performance difference between them

so not only is it cheaper it's 4% faster.
seems a no brainer to me.
Not quite. Cheapest 2060S is £20 cheaper than the cheapest 2070 (it's a mini), and also has a better cooler & higher boost, so the performance difference is a wash. The important part is rather that both are a hard sell for £345 when you have a 1070 already. Not gonna link them but they're easy to find.

Yep well worth it because right now you can get around £140-150 for your 1070. Next year when new GPU's launch 1070 is going to be a struggle to shift around £100. Put the £140-150 towards a 2060 Super means you got a new GPU with 3-5 years warranty which is going to be worth way more than your devalued 1070 next year. 2060 Super is about the same performance as a GTX1080 so you will notice some minor difference in many current games plus you can try the wonder tech called Ray Tracing & see what the difference is (NOT!!!).Looking at potential Xmas presents.
Is the 2060 worth the upgrade ?
