Every platform has it's standard max RAM speed and anything above that is considered overclocking. If the motherboard advertises more than the standard, i.e. overclocked, then no worries about warranty. If they didn't want you to try it, it would be disabled.

Running RAM at 3600 will depend on how good the IMC on your CPU is (silicon lottery), how good the memory design and implementation is on the motherboard (shouldn't be issue here as people report 3600 on Tomahawks regularly but also RAM compatibility can come into play), and just how good the RAM actually is as some may be right on the edge of what they are capable of when rated at such speeds/timings.

You can certainly run it lower if need be. But try XMP first (in the BIOS) and let it try to run at what its rated for.
