Is it possible to watch BT Sport Mobile on the big screen

Is it possible to watch BT Sport Mobile on the big screen without paying the additional fee.
I've tried casting the whole phone but it stops working after about 30 seconds.
If I buy a cable will it work and if so which cable ?

Not that I’ve found. The app itself seems to block any mirroring/casting that I’ve attempted in the past.

Assuming this is an app then one option could be to run an Android emulator on a laptop and run it through that. Then display the output over the laptops external display. Because it's running in an emulator it may not detect it's being shown over HDMI/Displayport/VGA.

Mind supplying a few more details? What phone/mobile device are using etc? I’ve tried casting/mirroring from my iPhone 8 and my wife’s Huawei P ‘something or other’ to a sammy and lg without joy.

Yeah sorry zx1 compact. It did work for a while I think they updated the software and blocked it.

Sorry man was asking the other dude who said he has it working on his sammy and Sony tv.
I’m in the same boat as yourself in that it used to work then I guess they cottoned on folk were ‘cheating’ a wee bit

100% works
Windows 10 BT app on the windows store. Need to use a laptop/PC via HDMI. I pay EE £4 a month and works perfectly.

Ok just checked now the cast button top right is greyed out. Are they separate subs now?
Some TVs support the bt sport app but not a lot and if you really want to you could hook up your laptop to your tv.or line above get the app on console that works fine to

App works fine on android box, it’s the sub which is free with bt mobile.

I used to mirror my screen to my TV when I had a samsung phone, but I think they've broken that now.

I watch on my android phone and cast to my LG TV, no issues just like I can watch YouTube.

Although, the best way to watch is online via an internet browser as the enhanced player is excellent. BT do a great job for online viewing.

Does not work if you get the basic sub through EE which I think Mr Blobby is referring to. The app cast button is not there and is blocked using the phones casting/screen mirroring option.

Again I just use an android box and it works fine on my tv. Blocked auto updates so they can’t alter the app and potentially block it.

Can I ask are you in the free trail? Where its three months free? Mine worked durning the trial soon as you started paying for it does not work.

I have tried all sorts but if your trick works ill grab an old apk and try it on my TV, I guess you don't know which version you have

I’m not paying for it apart I guess it’s part of a monthly fee for a sim only deal from the BT website. I only downloaded the app about 6 weeks ago.
