I have an Asus B350 F gaming motherboard now its nearly 2 years old and have never upadated bios or anything it runs fine with no issues, it has a Ryzen 5 1600 and 8gb of 2666 ram, am upgrading the ram to 32GB 3000 speed as the memory i have is no longer available
i thought maybe time to update the bios now have looked on asus website and there is 22 bios updates in total....do i have to do all of them from the oldest first or just the latest one? also there is 6 chipset updates what about those? also anything else that i should update from support page? cheers

Sometimes you can just update to the latest one, skipping those in the middle, but read carefully as you'll occasionally see notes on some bios releases that you need to update to that one first before proceeding to the newer bios otherwise you'll have big problems, and as there are 22 newer than your current one you may find more than 1 stepping stone so to speak :)

Just had a read of the bios versions for your board and as long as you update to the latest chipset driver first you can update the bios straight to the latest version which is 5220. For updating the chipset driver update to Version 5.12.0.31 dated 2017/06/02 which has a big update to USB3.0 first then straight to the latest which is version 1.7.29.0115 dated 2019/08/02. You may as well bring the audio (if using onboard) and LAN drivers up to date as well. Once done you can download the latest bios (5220) and put it on a USB stick then reboot into the bios and use EzFlash to update. Do not use windows based software to update the bios.
