Phone insurance for Chinese phones?

Anyone got a solution for this, doesn't look like insurance companies will insure these phones, is this just a downside of buying a Chinese phone?

the issues would be if you do have a problem they tend to offer a repair or replace which they cant do on these and the other fall back they have is a like for like which again is not good for insurance company they would end up having to give you a highend phone worth way more then the Chinese phone based on that.

Some Chinese model they will cover if sold in uk

What about lost phone insurance, how would you prove it's lost?

If you lose it most will ask you for evidence of purchase and police report will also check database for the imei that is has been reported.

So it's the same system if it was stolen.

It can vary between insurance companies some are very strict others not so depends at time on the phone plus your history.
