Do Gigabyte X570 boards come with no socket protector

I just got my Gigabyte X570 Aorus Pro. Is it normal for these boards to not come with socket protectors?

Never seen a PGA socket motherboard with protector, only LGA socket.

I was just wanting to make sure as I know the Intel ones usually ship with a socket protector.

LGA can get damaged easily, so I think that's why they don't use protectors on PGA.

Didn't have one
Though it also didn't last long either
Just died on me after 4 days use

Sorry to read that.

I had my C6H from launch til C7H came to me. I used ~5 Zen CPUs with it, besides 4+ RAM kits and other HW changes, I sold it on few weeks after C7H in my hands.

I've had my C7HWIFI since launch. Used it with Zen/Zen+/Zen2, must have used ~9+ CPUs with it. Also used several set of RAM kit, 3+ G.Skill kits and 1x Patriot Vipers, still going strong.
