Post Xmas deals

A lot of the consoles are cheaper now that Black Friday - You can get PS4 pro with games for £249 / XBOX one X for ££279 with game. The One S is floating about cheap as well. Good idea to check the likes of Hot Deals each day
 
I bought the Xbox One S (1TB and disc drive) last week with Jedi Fallen for £170, had no interest in Jedi Fallen so sold that for £30.

Quite happy with it costing me £140 all in and signed up for Game Pass for three months at £1. Bargain for me.
 
Game have a cracking offer on Ps4 pros.

Traded my old Ps4, must've been about 5 Yr old.
Paid 129.99 16 quid of that was points.
Got 10 quid back in points

Got a brand new Ps4 Pro death stranding limited edition.
Sold the game for 30
Sold the pad for 65

So it's ended up costing me 9 quid to upgrade to a pro :)

Eyeing up the xbox one x gears limited edition at 270 now as well haha.
 
If the Xbox One X drops a bit more to £249 or less, I’m going to bite. It’s unlikely I will get XSX at launch as that honour will go to PS5 so Xbone X will last me at least 18 months.
 
yeah same here I won't be an early adopter to the next consoles tbf

Really like the look of the Gears Ltd Edition console but would like to play the new star wars
Got the best part of 50 quids worth of points now so that helps with the initial cost haha

Why?! From your spec you have a decent gaming PC, and MS have already said their next platform will be almost entirely backwards compatible, so I honestly can't see what you're missing out on. My One S gets hardly any use these days.

There are some games on Xbox that I would love to play again. They're either not available on PC, such as Gears of War 2 + 3, Viva Pinata. And there are some that are janky to play on PC because they don't run well or don't have controller support like the original Assassin's Creed, Dragon Age Origins/II, Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell/Pandora Tomorrow/Chaos Theory, Mass Effect trilogy. All of those games (except ME + Dragon Age) run at 4K on Xbox One X as well which is a nice bonus.

And I absolutely detest using Windows Store. So PC Game Pass is nice but I don't like the way folders are locked out, the download system is unreliable and it just gets on my nerves. So I'd rather use Xbox Game Pass instead.

why would anyone pay £65 for a PS controller?!
 
Would be well interested if they had a "trade any Xbox in and get a new one" as I have an original one that is playable but, disc try is broke.
