How do religious people explain child mortality?

So about as pointless as this thread and most of if not all of the posts in it!
There's nothing pointless about the thread. It's asking why, if there is a god, does he allow children to die. Its a fairly reasonable thing to ask the followers of a supposedly benevolent god (since the god himself apparently doesn't communicate through any normal channels)

I don't think God comes into GD much.

Errr not religious but....

God created humans then let us get on with it. (Kicked out of Eden)
That's how you explain all the evils we do and horrible things that happen to us.

But may I add, god isn't real so don't be a moron. Live your 1 life well and enjoy it.

Merry Christmas.

Ultimately;

Religion is the special branch of cosmology that relates to events that occurred at T<0 (Or perhaps, arguably, T<0+5.39 × 10⁻⁴⁴ s )

If there is/isn't a god it doesn't matter

They obviously don't care about us, or worse toy with us. After all we don't don't care about ants (lesser species)

So if there isn't a god,, no worries. If there is, it's a bit of a ****. Which pretty much means religion sucks

I don't for one second believe in any of the mainstream monotheistic religions. The pagans had it right

Happy Christmas all!!!

How do people explain child mortality, especially in countries where intervention for easily preventable diseases is possible by us?

We have the capacity to fix many things wrong with this world and society but don't.

Early recall / hall pass for good behaviour?

Or to adopt the attitude of zen bhuddist monks who imagine they stand above, looking down, observing the 'flowers of hell' (the things in the world):

Hell pass for past life good behaviour!
