Hi guys,

Totally new to the world of upgrades and thought this time I would sort out my own upgrades. The logic being that I would try and learn something by researching/picking my own parts.

Anyway, the irony here and the SOS part is that I was researching Aorus motherboards that would be good for my i9-900k and was recommended the Aorus X570 Master. The board has arrived today and it has AMD/Ryzen plastered all over the box with no mention of Intel compatibility other than Wifi Specs. Can someone confirm whether this board is compatible with the intel i9 900k and if not, what board I should I be ready to order as a replacement?

Any insight would be appreciated guys, and a forward apology for being such a noob

Who the **** recommended yon an X570 motherboard for a, presumably, 9900k??

And as above, no that board won’t support that cpu. Unless your typo is a massive one and you meant to type 3800x or similar!

Hi guys,

I have picked out this board, would it be a suitable replacement? My specs are intended to be:

CPU: Intel i9 9900k
MOBO: TBD
RAM: 16 GB Trident Z RGB
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce 2080 Super

Yes you are looking at Intel Z390 based Chipset Mobos for that CPU if you want the high end so Formula or Extreme (used to be the top two models in the range) but there is too many models now so more than that and possibly an Apex model above them.
