What watch do you wear?

I like the Tissot. That styling is pretty much what I have (which is a fossil). Well, it’s more that I dislike the Seiko. I dislike the ‘cheap work shoe’ strap and what’s up with that blue stitching?

I tend to have very little interest in watches or their ‘prestige’ so the enthusiast’s opinion will probably differ.

Easily changed to another high quality strap for £20 or less. The Seiko styling is classy and timeless and the Tissot styling is, objectively speaking, cheap and tacky in comparison.

Thanks for the replies, I’m leaning towards the Seiko as I prefer the slightly less fussy face. However the Tissot Visodate has caught my eye now, I thinks it’s gorgeous!

Looks like a perfect combo of the two! Not sure if it’s a thing or if you care but maybe look to see if there’s a version that doesn’t have the day of the week on it and decide which of those you like the best.

@lee1101 the Visodate is very pretty. Feels great in the hand and the quality is excellent. Better strap out of the box but as mentioned above nothing a £20 strap can't fix on the Cocktail. Bear in mind that it's 40mm so a tad smaller than the Cocktail time. Despite my teenage girl wrists the Visodate still felt too small.

This Tissot is much better styled than the other one... but the Tissot logo on this particular design annoys me as it is a weird font and jumps out at you. The dial is also plain looking compared to the Seiko which has that oh-so-stunning sunburst design with such elegant indices. The more I look at it the more lovely I think it is.

I think I’ve decided on the Cocktail Time. I’ve seen lots of pictures of it with a better strap and it looks lovely. Any recommendations of where to buy from? Hiller Jewellers seems to be the cheapest from what I can find

Quick pic, set the time for you- but not the date; been a while since I wore this one, but still one of my favs. The strap is amazing :)
