Compact travel PC?

I am thinking of moving down South and might have to replace or buy a compact PC.

Should I be looking for Mini or Micro ATX? Will I take a big perf. hit, or can you buy 5700 XT / Vega 64s that fit into that size?

I am a dev and I currently have a Vega 64 / 3600 setup with 32GB RAM. I want to keep this or go above. I can get rid of the GPU if I have to, it'll force me to be more productive anyway, but I run Ultrawide monitors.

Is the correct term "pc travel case" that I should be searching?

If you want an add on card you will need an ITX build, otherwise you might want to look at a NUC which is around the size of a big mac box, I believe some should handle 32gb.

I think that would actually be perfect.

Is this the best one available? Are there any AMD Ryzen ones? https://www.overclockers.co.uk/inte...kull-canyon-barebones-micro-pc-fs-000-if.html

Are they full chips or mobile PCs + how do they compare against a 3600?

The alternative is that I sell my aging 13" MBP and get a top spec 15" MBP, but that would be like 2.5K

There is a version of the Intel NUC with AMD Vega graphics called Hades Canyon, eg Intel NUC8i7HNK, if you want/need more graphics grunt.
