Just got this board, did some tests and came up with the following board temps.

MOBO sensor - 31c idle and load
VRM sensor - 31c idle 33c load
M2 Nvme pcie 4 sensor - 41c idle 50c load while benching the SSD
PCH sensor - 60c idle 65c load 2200rpm fan.
GPU Sensor - 34c idle 65c load
CPU Sensor (3950x 4.3ghz @ 1.3v) - 34c idle, 50c partial load, 80c max load

My GPU is sitting right over where the PCH fan is. I'm concerned it's causing high temps. Is 60c too hot for the PCH?

The fan is spinning at 2200rpm and the PCH is at 60c while the system is totally idling.

Thankfully I cannot hear the fan over the other case fans.

Have you updated to latest bios look on Asus forum seems quite a few have got same sort of temps mate

yes it's the latest BIOS revision.

So it's normal temps then? Ok all good, I wasn't sure.

On the plus side, the VRM is crazy good on this board. Even with the 3950x at full load using package power of 250w the VRM only sits at 33c. And it's passively cooled, no water.

The temps are the same on quite a few so I'd think they're fine nice board
