OK
This week my PC crashed and threw a number of errors. However the biggest one was Memory
I have 2 sets of 4GB populated in my MSI Gaming plus. Originally I thought I have lost a memory stick as it would either fail to boot or only show 4GB when installed in DIMMA2 DIMMB2
I tested each stick as a single and all OK but paired up failed to boot. (boot loop)
When installed into DIMMA1 and DIMMB1 system boots shows 8GB and runs fine. (not optimised)
This worked on all my memory.
So I assumed that the MB had failed and sort a replacement.
I have just installed a the new MB and have exactly the same issue.
I can't test my memory on another system and I don't want to fork on more memory IF this is going to be a CPU problem. I cant see it being another issue with MSI so my question
Is this a CPU issue? will this cause memory lane problems?
It's a boxed purchase so warranty will not be and issue.
