The shift +f10 isn't a visible optionRight. I think I was a bit confused as to when and where the options were supposed to pop up. That and since I couldn't get many of the options to work I felt a bit lost with it all.
Glad it's sorted and pleased to know a work-around in case it ever happens again.
That's why I think it may have higher authority so to speak
You put windows media in and as soon as it comes to the point where it needs your interaction to proceed
You press shift+f10
This would be the point where you can choose repair this pc
Or think its install or upgrade
But basically it's first point where if you do nothing it won't proceed
Choosing repair you can after that choose a command prompt
But seems to have less authority than shift+f10 does
Sorry if that sounds bit confusing
When it's pretty straightforward really
