Did i get lucky with my 2060 supers boost clock?

I bought a gigabyte 2060 super gaming 3x oc from OCUK 2 weeks ago. Now the 2060 super states a boost clock of 1650 on nvidias page, on gigabytes its 1710mhz (dispite what OCUK states, they have the wrong info), now that seemed like a nice boost over stock but my card boosts to 1980mhz, that seems like a HUGE boost compared to stock/stated boost clocks.

So did i get lucky or is that normal? The card itself is great, idles at 30c and load never goes above 65c, silent too.

Yup, normal.

I have a mild OC on my 1070 which means it's at 2012Mhz mostly (under 55c), at 55-58C under max stress (it never reaches 60c) it sticks at 2000Mhz.

Nope, nothing unusual about that, official boost clock on my 1070 is 1771Mhz, actual boost clocks 1911Mhz.

Wow so if the actual boost clock is so much higher then why not advertise it? is it because some cards might not reach that boost? The advertised is the "safe" estimate maybe?
