Republicans are struggling to find enough votes to block the introduction of new witnesses:

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell told his caucus Tuesday that Republicans currently lack the votes needed to block witnesses from being called in the impeachment trial against President Trump, but are hopeful they could get there by Friday, three sources familiar with the closed-door meeting tell Axios.

The big picture: Most Republicans have tried to avoid calling witnesses, and just a few days ago it looked like their efforts would be successful. But bombshell revelations from former national security adviser John Bolton's forthcoming book have swayed more GOP senators in recent days, with some signaling they're more likely to vote for witnesses than before.

Rubbish there is no double standard from me. I hold Trump to exactly the same standard as Obama and the others. There is far more evidence then just a couple of bit of audio and the GAO statement you want to ignore. We have two hard core far right Republicans deeply involved close to Trump one of which was directly involved with statements saying its true. We have the first hand witness’s and the whistle-blower and more. But I cannot be bothered to go over all the evidence again just for you to ignore it all again.

I was specific, I posted the numbers which I don’t have time to dig out right now. My old posts have them. Something like 85% of what Trumps statements are not true. Something like 80% of his policy’s failed. The few that passed made things worse. Trump has failed to do what he was elected for and he cannot blame the dems as he started off with control of the entire Senate.

That’s not from Trump though the good parts of the economy are left overs from Obamas policy. The policy's Trump put in place benefited his 1% Elite friends and made things worse for everyone else. The debts took a sharp trend badly directly from Trumps policy’s and the debt is serious and is another failed promise by Trump.

Accept for Trump has failed on China. He has shown he has no clue what so ever what he is doing and just like North Koran and the others he has messed up playing into the hands of the other said.

Also half of this is off topic so even if you don’t agree with me I am going to stop arguing it, as it doesn’t belong in this thread.

You can guarantee those ads will be based on nothing other than facts, no spin* or misleading whatsoever....

The Koch network is also starting to fret more about him and Warren - keeping their Senate majority will be even more important.

*it seems they are concentrating on his health rather than the usual guff these ads do.
