Streetlights that turned off at midnight
Still do round here, dim at 11 and off totally at 1am. Saves the council about 120K a year apparently, across the whole county. Anti-social behaviour, theft and burglaries have increased since also which is a bonus. :/
Pocket knives.
Carried in your trouser pockets at home and school and used to whittle, carve names in trees. Essential for a well known game called 'splits' where you stood facing your opponent and threw your knife to stick in the ground. He would have to reach it by moving one foot, not falling over etc. etc.

Chopper was more a seventies bike. Grifter 80s along with its little brother the Striker, I think it was called.

80's: Grifter < Teen / Boxer < kiddy one / (Do not think they had a smaller one)

The Tomahawk was the Chopper Jr. and the Striker sat in-between the Boxer and the Grifter.

Had one, with the 'in' thing of the time a speaker siren that made the police, ambulance sounds. The little yellow or white ones for those that remember.
