Have you tried any spots of light like reflection from wrist watch?
Some cats go hyperactive from that and laser pointer...

Well, as long as hard parts aren't sticking into something all is good and fat is rather flexible...
Good thing octopus isn't common in "aerial" world.

Octopus

I read an article once which claimed that Octopus weren't even from this planet. They're highly intelligent, very interesting animals, but I suspect they're very much earthbound.

I'm a hardcore meat eater but I have some odd rules, if I think something is smart enough I wont eat it, Octopus are out of the question for me!

Yeah got a green laser pointer
He loves it
As unlike red ones
He can see the whole beam
Not just the dot
But no matter how much he loves it
He chases it for exactly the same
Amount of up and down the hallway
Each time then throws himself down into a heap.
Also got this circular toy
That has a randomly rotating arm
Under a nylon cover
On end of arm a red flexible bit of silicone rubber sticks out
He loves that too
But soon realised
Hey i can actually lie down and wait for it to rotate back round to me
Instead of chasing it.
And have seen some of those octopus
