Hi,

Regarding the above is it possible to reuse my water block with maybe an adapter bracket, or would I need a new block?

I did read something about adapting it, but I'm not sure it would work in this instance.

Second question this is going to be paired with a 2080ti any advice for a good cheap (ish) motherboard that would go with it?

Any advice gratefully accepted!

what make/model is the block ? some EK ones have to get a new block .

depends on your budget , looking for Cheapest Get B450 MSI carbon £115 odd . bit more then £90 for B450 MSI Tomahawk but Phase set up is slightly better along with wifi.
After X570 and have £150-180 to spend then Gigabyte X570 Gaming X or Gigabyte's Aorus Elite mobo

BB CODE
My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £491.07 (includes shipping: £11.10)

elite is quite expensive here. B550 is starting to pick up pace

It's a xpsc raystorm.

I'll probably go with the x570 for future proofing.

looks like you'll need new Waterblock. Alphacool make their block so they can fit any Socket

If you have access to a CNC router or a laser cutter (or you're reasonably handy) you could fabricate a new hold down plate. I have an XSPC Delta and I've made a new plate. You may have to source new mounts/screws though so weigh up the benefits.
