Thinking of getting a BMW 1 Series

[Erm yeah that’s hard to pick one]

The current motor is making some nosies that for 17 years old say time to go. She’s only do 72,234 miles. So I been looking and rather tempted with a 1 Series, 5 door. Diesel is tempting as I’ve always had petrol.

Would like something to have a bit of poke.

Anyone got any tips or advice

I do 8 miles a day currently. I should cycle really. Face that reminds me I need to spot for it. Diesel for the Torque

Not a Hybrid, an EV. Pure Electric. for that sort of mileage it'd be ideal. Only thing is getting a good one for £8k.

Anyway, is there a need for 5 seats? You could get a Z4 3.0, BMW 330i M-Sport, Audi TT, literally loads of cars! For 4k a year I'd be looking at something 'with a bit of poke' that is also fun. Missed the £8k budget. A first gen M135i is gonna be more trouble than it's worth now.

I’m 6’3”. We have the Fiat 500 at work. I get discount new on them. Wouldn’t touch one. I also have the Ev Corsa, MG, Hybrids.
