so bought myself one of these boards, and really should have done a bit more research, but what with also researching and being new to an SFF build, just didn't give myself the time to dig further

the board comes AMD 2000 desktop cpu ready, which is really useful, seen as i have bought a RyZen 5 3600 to go in it,

no flash back bios on the board,

not waiting however many days/possibly weeks for AMD to ship me a compatible cpu to use to update the bios,

so my only 2 options are buy a cheap compatible CPU (anyone know the best one to get) and keep as a spare

or get a different ITX board, happy to pay up to £200 for one thats ready to go with the 3000 desktop cpu's
any help appreciated,

Yes that's the one

there seems a couple of mix reviews on this card, especailly er the bios or BSOD, but have to say a lot of good reviews, I try to take some reviews with a pinch of salt, think i may plump for this board, was gonna get a
AMD Athlon 200GE anyway to help update the bios, so just feel going the extra 50 or so gives me a board i dont need to upgrade, and i just bought an upgraded front usb 3.1 type C connector for my DA2 case just to realise the MSI board hasnt got a 2nd gen usb header port, jesus have i let myself down lol (hols head in shame)

No problem let me know if you get it as looking at ģetting the pro atx size myself also UK rma which comes in handy if anything goes wrong and there's a gigabyte rep on these forums ;)

yep will do mate;), just watching a review from Optimum Tech, if you dont know his videos mate look him up, great un-american reviews :). love the US of A but their accents do grate a bit :D ( but they are not all that bad)

aorus releasing 4000hz ram soon - should hit 5000hz on that board due to direct dual channel Dimm and 8 layer PCB :D

crank it up !

ha ha, I’m not even half way there yet, my boards out for delivery today, and even built my problems haven’t even started,

unfortunately I’ve been a slave to the blank bios for years , yes I bought the only Alienware laptop that wouldn’t let me touch the bios settings other than “save” n “exit” :(

so need to catch up on which buttons are for eject! And explode  AKA where the hell do I start lol there seems like there’s so many ways to clock boost and undervolt! I bought the Ryzen because I fought you just set PBO ? And leave it alone but it seems that’s not the case if your undervolting or changing memory timings. I need to go back to school
