Only just realized thanks to hardware unboxed that I bought one of the worst X570 boards out there :( cant return it as bought it over a month ago. Just to clarify I'm ok using a 3700X on the board? Not going to overheat anything am I?

Thanks.

hi
its only 65w cpu so should be fine with this board as i read also on internet. I just built it with r5 3600 and runs great atm. I played watch dogs 2 yesterday and chipset cooler was off all the time. Temps are low i put artic cooler on cpu plus 3 case fans. Updated bios to ...16 then sorted wifi problem and all looks great atm. If you dont plan to use 10core or more this board is good

Yeah I thought my cpu would be fine, I was planning on getting a 4900x when they come out but I'll stick with my 3700x for now then.

Thanks.

Dont get me wrong it works perfectly fine, I havent noticed any throttling or anything so I'll just stick with how it is.
i see. if everything works fine why worry he tested it with 12core also in diferent conditions in the video

Chipset cooler is pretty much the only part MSI did right in their X570 line up.
Actually having basically the best chipset coolers of all X570 boards.
While Asus who rectified their B450 VRM fiasco went for marketing designed chipset coolers not even tested with their own graphics cards...

But that doesn't justify rewarding them with money from any X570 board, when whole line up until Unify uses copypasted same old design bare OK level VRM from B450 boards...
Which starts putting out fast increasing amounts of heat if CPU draws over 100W.

i did my homework before purchase. My initial purchase which was aorus elite couldnt been fulfilled then i got this board for great price after all discounts. Im happy with new pc as it is atm after polishing all issues. It running cool and quiet and suits my needs well
