Hi all

I bought a desk lamp a while ago and stupidly removed the sticker that said which bulbs were needed as it was on the glass.

I know it needs G9 bulbs but don’t know what wattage and am worried about safety.

I bought two 40 watt bulbs and put them in but they smelt a bit burny as soon as I turned it on so I immediately unplugged it.

Can anybody help?

thanks in advance!

Where did you buy the lamp from? Can you check the shop website or your email which may have if bought online. It may link back to some info regarding what wattage bulb you should be using.

We bought it from TK Maxx unfortunately in person. It has literally no information on it sadly. I’m wondering if it’s actually just faulty because it’s only one bulb that seems to smell and the buzzing sound can’t be good
