X570 aorus master

Getting an F8 error code at some point after a successful boot.

3900x with 8pack teamgroup 3600 ram.

Any ideas?

Have you already tried running the RAM at stock speed just to troubleshoot?

Yeah. I just selected xmp in the bios. Booted. Installed windows, chipset and ryzen master.

I've uninstalled master to see how I get on.

I notice 1.45v in cpu-Z for cpu, so I guess need to do some tweaks in the bios.

Is the pc running properly?
Those codes aren't just for errors
They are also successful
Inititiation codes
For example xxx code could mean
Cpu successfully posted
If everything is fine
Ignore the code don't try to fix
Something that's not a problem

Manual says it's an error code. Will do some little investigation, not played with bios yet.

OK uninstalling ryzen master has fixed that issue.
So I'll run without that until I understsnd everything a bit more.

Is the a dummies guide to x570 master with 3900x?

Trying to get temps down. Playing with profiles now.

I've left everything to default/auto in the bios other than setting to XMP.

1.47v at idle in cpu-Z!!!!

Seems I can set voltage in ryzen master... Lots to learn.

1.4v or so is normal under light load for a 3900x

current voltage on left
minimum in middle==that was testing low power mode
max on the right
average on very far right

How do I stop the fan ramping up and down so much on idle.?
That's the most annoying thing.

I've set a profile in ryzen master to get the volts down.

Set a custom fan curve
Either using gigabyte SIV
Or something like speedfan
Or in the bios

Will spend a good couple of hours tomorrow on this.

Plus point all assembled and no crashes
/lock ups.

So that's a good start.
