Aircraft seized at airports and flights diverted for immediate landing mid air.

Game over.

They've been teetering on the brink for a while, this was just the final nail in the coffin.

Have friends who work for them, and I've used them many times for work. Rubbish situation for all involved, especially as many of their flights aren't run by anyone else.

Agreed. But they've effectively failed to be profitable out of running a monopoly in that case, or competing with trains.

Got a holiday to Paris with the misses this April and the flights are with Flybe which we've had booked for a while. We were worried our insurance and the whole ATOL cover wouldn't cover us with the whole coronavirus thing.

I guess this either helps us out or we could be in for a whole world of pain.

Shame. Got a bit of a soft spot for them as used them quite a bit to Belfast and Inverness with work a while back.
I’m not a great flyer and they’re pretty much the only airline I ever used!

Most of the flybe flights I've been on are full, which is the worrying part.

The funny thing about a lot of companies these days is they seem to be so desperate to offer competitive prices that they forget that at some point they'll probably have to make a profit. It probably doesn't help that the stock markets seem to love companies that don't really make money but might one day, possibly.
