Just bought myself an EVGA Hadron Hydro Mini ITX case, and will be looking to fill it with a ryzen mb without breaking the bank.

Must be able to OC to reasonable level, and must be able to take 3xxx series chips. Must be able to have acceptable memory oc, nothing crazy.

Budget, 150 max ideally for the MB itself.

I originally bought it with the intent of making a PC for my daughter, but think i will keep it and use my RTX 2060 in it.

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £426.67 (includes shipping: £11.70)

better RMA/support with Gigabyte.

Aorus VRM set up is 4x 50amps = 200amps
Strix is 6x 40amps = 240amps
MSI is 6x 60amps = 360amps - but boards features are poor and very slow wifi. 1 x m.2 vs 2 of the others and lessor audio

I got the Gigabyte B450-I AORUS PRO WIFI (Socket AM4) Mini-ITX Motherboard running with 3700x all solid with 3200mhz 16gb Corsair
My motherboard already had updated bios & with the Ryzen 3000 Ready sticker on the box

6x USB on I/O, AC WIFI Wave 2, Intel LAN port, CPU & 1 X System fan header just use a fan splitter, the ports can take a lot, ALC1220 Audio
best Fan control software if needed

I Would give OCUK a phone to find out if it as the sticker on the front.

Nice suggestions. Thank you.

I'm also looking at tbe Asrock B450 fatal1ty. It is almost identical to rhe x470 version sith slightly lesser bluetooth and half the bios size. Decent reviews.

Asus board would definitely be nice.

Saving with Aorus or ASRock at £105/10 could push for 32GB of ram at 3200hz speed or decent 3600hz 16GB kit over the more expensive Strix

True. I'm likely going to stick with 16GB, as it's only 2 slots. Reasonable 3600 intrigues me though.

If there is a 16GB X2 kit that is reasonable I'd consider that though as I do more than just gaming.

Bought the Asrock B450 Fatal1ty board today. It is sooooo diddy lol. Never had an ITX board before so was kinda surprised.

Really nice that these perform on par with regular sized boards as well.

Going to be interesting to see if I can squeeze in my 280mm gfx card in 267mm of space in my Hadron Hydro.

As long as I can fit my RTX 2060 in the case of mod the case st it can fit.... I'll likely be keeping this as my own system and my almost 10 year old will get my ryzen 1600 system.

Very impressed with this Asrock B450 board so far.

And yes, I squeezed in the 280mm RTX 2060 without too much fuss into the Hadron Hydro case. No weird angles needed to get it in.

Gotta figure how to PBO overclock on this thing now.

Asrock B450 Fatal1ty I also have, Solid onboard ALC 1220 with Soundblaster Fatal1ty, great caps, :)
had no trouble with the board, solid on time,
The only niggle is that the 4+4 8 pin CPU port not on the edge

Only annoyance I have found so far is that the front panel connector for audio get a lot of electrical noise.
