The Division 2 - March 2019

are you sure thats what causing the crash? doesnt sound right

in event viewer go to windows logs > system and check for a warning event at the time of the crash

in my experience its usually graphics related so in the source is might say "Display"
I will keep an eye on that @ the next crash. Thanks for info
I just ran Uplay as administrator and it has'nt crashed since /coincidence maybe..

Oh and the amount of times this games crashes with no error is too damn high.

Just dropping to desktop with no error message? Have a look in your Event Viewer after a crash and I guarantee you'll see "ID: 4101 - display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered" .It's a well known crash and UbiSoft support know all about it, but they refuse to acknowledge it as they are incapable of finding out what causes it and fixing it. Even Nvidia say it's down to something in the Snowdrop engine, but UbiSoft just keep on burying their head in the sand.

I bought the Division 2 over Xmas on the Epic store. Downloaded it today and installed it to play only to find out that after waiting 2hrs for it to download on Epic, it then needs to download the full game again on Uplay!

They should have just said redeem on Uplay... Does that mean I can delete the game from Epic and still play it from Uplay?

I bought it on Epic too, I just linked the accounts and downloaded it via Uplay. You can then ditch Epic altogether if you want.

Got a lot more damage now, managed to find some relative balance and elites are melting now.

Have around 750k+ armour and 250k+ health now.

Another Tuesday, another pathetic patch (imo) Still no Gear Set fix's wth? and no mention of the matchmaking issue that made the game borderline lonely the weekend.
Was really looking forward to seeing the matchmaking resolved in these notes. They touched on it in the last state of the game.
  • We are temporarily disabling the ability to reset seasonal manhunts to prevent lost progression towards a manhunt. This is a temporary solution while we are working on a more permanent fix meant to release later in March. Once the final fix is implemented, we will reactive the ability to reset manhunts.
  • Fixed a progression blocker where an NPCs became stuck at the last stage in Castle Clinton.
  • Fixed an issue that granted an incorrect number of Specialization Points pr. SHD level.
  • Fixed an issue where blue quality items dropped from regular NPCs in the DZ regardless of player max level.
  • Fixed an issue where players would gain multiple seasonal caches.
  • Fixed an issue with seasonal cache rewards becoming contaminated if players leveled in the season whilst in the DZ.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented players from gaining seasonal XP from DZ activities.
  • Fixed an issue where enemy NPCs would disappear at The Nest Control Point, halting progress at the "defend stage".
  • Fixed an issue that prevented completion of The Nest Control Point on challenging difficulty.
  • Fixed an issue that would cause some NPCs to be stuck at spawn in various Control Points.
  • Fixed some puzzle reset issues on all Hunter encounters.
  • Fixed an issue causing Hunter encounters to give too many keys.
    • If you received too many keys, you won’t receive new keys until your completed encounters match your amount of keys.
8:30AM tomorrow for us.

I was also having contant crashes, I tried many things but the two things that finally fixed it last week was:
1. Disabling Discord overlay.
2. Switch back to DX11.
Since then I haven't had one crash and I have put in a lot of hours. I also have put Afterburner with overlock setting back on without a problem.

DX12 is the biggest culprit. I don't have Discord installed on the PC yet and it was crashing after a while with DX12 active. Once back on DX11, it runs for endless hours until I quit. I think there was a time I had a 7 hour long session.

Same for me but it's a shame - it does seem to run better with DX12 until it crashes.

Now I'm on the expansion do I ditch all my god rolled lvl 30 gear and equip 31+ gear? I have only just started but playing right now everything is very easy. I was thinking if I have lvl 30 gear in my stash it might have an effect on drops?

How big is the patch?
2 GB

Don't know if it has an effect on drops or not, but I kept all my level 30 gear through out the NYC story and only started switching it over when back in DC.
It was VERY hard to ditch good rolled lvl 30 gear but in the end yeah it's all trash, and made the NYC story a lot harder than it needed to be by keeping the old stuff on.
Actually I have a lot of L30 in stash, not nerfing my drops as I can tell. You could run it all through the recal library to build up your Lvl1-30 pokedex.

You going to be soaked in so much loot, don't worry about it.
