The Division 2 - March 2019

Gone for a skill build now with Wyvern 3 piece and Alps 3 piece as i've found i rely heavily on my skills.

Tested it today and i preferred this playstyle, was also good in this seasons challenging time trials too and i noticed other people were running skill tier builds as well.
 
ive been running a rifle build using one of the named rifles - cant remember the name
but it hits hard and it has perfect lucky shot so every missed shot while im in cover doesnt use ammo, which i like

I have that, currently using it whilst i level up the Sharpshooter specialisation.

Found the name of it, its the Baker's Dozen (for anyone else reading this :P)

it is a really strong weapon, but such slow rate of fire so you have to keep your distance
also got the Dark Winter as my secondary incase any rushers manage to flank me
 
Was doing a control point last night with a friend and when we cleared it 3 rogue agents spawned with a plethora of gadgets and a **** ton of armour and health.
It was an intense but enjoyable battle which we survived.
Really liking this game just recently.
 
I just completed the expansion, but now I'm a bit confused. What level should I set to world at? Before you just worked through each tier, but now I have a choice. Can anything above normal be solo'ed? I do a lot of soloing but always group up to do missions. Seems like a lot of new stuff has been thrown at me all at once.

Yes, i've solo'd things on challenging, haven't tried heroic.

I have mine set to hard as my gear was not great at lvl40. I do now think I could bump it up to challenging as I have a not too bad set of kit.

and heroic and legendary - been farming legendary - the damage some players can put out is mind blowing, I have never run all red so I don't miss what I never had but they just melt through the whole mission, often with no heals (except armor from my Vanguard talent)
I'm just there going pew pew pew with my pistol hiding behind my shield, nice to switch off from the real world though.

So yeah, maybe they don't need to change anything with the scaling (but they are anyway) if things are taking too long to kill, the group composition is just wrong.
 
Oh incoming patch in few minutes.
Maybe Legendary difficulty is actually hard... ops

  • Fixing an issue causing players to deal unintended amounts of damage.
  • Fixing several issues causing crashes.
I figured they were just really well geared, have I been playing with cheaters all day :o

Very likely. A lot of people have been using the exploit to put out millions of damage per shot.
 
Is it actually possible to do the Federal Bunker Mission in under 14?! Been trying it with randomers all evening and can't sweet FA.
 
I havent managed it yet, but one tip, dont go in with a full group, scaling makes it much harder, try no more than 3, seems most have success with 2 man teams or solo.

Indeed, I tried it after the servers came back up and well it was a cluster **** still managed it but damn, what a slog and in no way fun.
Them legendary healing box's can go **** right off.

I'm still seeing people 1 shot melee npc's in Legendary though, dunno what thats all about.

i did it in under 16 solo on my first attempt and that was with messing up and getting downed so i imagine it might be easier to solo rather than group up for it

If its purple or reds, then it will be sweet dreams the exotic shotgun.
 
I wouldn't worry too much about the time trials, just do what you can solo as it's more efficient unless you know really good players so that you can do it as a group.

There was only one group i was in where we blitzed through it, the rest i'd rather just forget about it so i've done it solo ever since.
