Spec me: Glass 1L - 1.5L bottle with wide mouth

Hi,

Random one but let's see how good your google fu is!

Can anyone find me something like the below (which is 500ml), but instead in 1L - 1.5L variant? Wide mouthed to easily pour water into from a filtered jug.

Must have suitable lid to be stored horizontally.

Need 4 for approximately £35/£40 total (seems a reasonable budget).

How good is your google fu? Hopefully better than mine!

What about a beer growler? I picked mine up from Brewdog last year

Holds about 2 pints, wide neck, can store horizontally.

Others designs available elsewhere I should think.

not sure why you wouldn't go PET/plastic . you can still sterilize them -
even on glass the weakness(hygiene/mold/ageing) will be the closures/top.

Look at some of the fancy bottled waters, they come in glass and only cost a couple of quid. Think I saw one like that in waitrose

Otherwise look at the swing top bottles. They come in 1l and i reckon they'd seal well enough.

Was more to move away from plastic to be honest, but I guess there are 'better' types of plastic than regular plastic water bottles.

My first thought was the glass voss water bottles. I can't remember the width of the mouth but maybe just get a funnel if you can't pour steadily.
