Pretty much any Trump speech is garbage, there are very few without gaffs, word salad or lies.

That's what I don't get. 5 minutes of listening to him and my ears are bleeding and I can't listen to anymore. He can speak for hours but nothing of substance comes out. It's gibberish.

Boris is ten times more cohesive than trump. Trump takes ten minutes to say something that could be said in two. He's like "this is fast...quick.. Its rapid... Its not slow... Its a speedy one.. You know.. Not like the old ones... A fast new one like nothing before.. Someone told me.. It really moves!..."
Utter twonk.
In Boris's defence I will say I don't automatically want to punch him in the mouth when I see him speak.

Boris is a proper **** but he's way way more coherant than Trump.
If you fancy a laugh, you might like the Bad Lip Reading videos of him. BLR is deliberate gibberish for amusement value but it's more coherent than what he actually said. BLR's American football videos are their best work, IMO, but they do like to mess with speeches from politicians. They're a unifying force - supporters of both sides get to laugh together.

Because when he was asked to reassure the public and instead of doing that he chose to start ranting and talking about himself. Attacking a reporter who asks for him to give reassuring words is showing you’re on their side?
I had it on earlier but turned it off, constant self praise and lies.
The question asked was about as simple and as soft a one as could ever be asked of a leader at a time when the public are worried.
Normally any world leader no matter how unprepared and stupid will have had at least a few stock platitudes they could have rolled out, the better ones would have had a response that was a bit more specific, in depth prepared and memorised as it's pretty much a given you're going to get asked some variation of the question. It's about on the level of difficulty of asking an actor what their favourite role is or what they thought of the movie they're currently on a promotional tour for.
Obama got asked far more harshly worded questions over things that were utterly trivial in comparison.
It takes an utter brain dead idiot to take a question that only needs a "rest assured your government and I are doing everything possible to protect you, our citizens from this" response and turn it into another example of being unfit to be in charge of feeding the budgie at the care home.
Even W Bush managed better responses mere hours after 9/11, and that's something I never thought I'd be saying about him in relation to anyone.

The same god damned question was thrown at Pence as well and yet he managed to answer it properly without having to attack a reporter or outlet.
