4 GOP senators are trying to derail the Coronavirus relief bill because they think low income workers will receive too much money. One of them was arguing last week that workers shouldn’t receive any money, companies should and then let it trickle down, because that worked so well with the tax cuts...

It stuns me that they think the "trickle down" thing works. Someone should tell them that the 26 richest people in the world own as much wealth/assets as the poorest half (i.e ~3.8 billion people).....
 
Watched Trump's press conference tonight. Once again he waffled on, talking about tremendous stuff as per usual. How none of this is his fault, blamed everyone else. How he's spoken to 2 people who've had it who didn't even go to the doctors! I'm sure that is a great comfort to the families of the dead :rolleyes: Pence on the other hand sounded Presidential again. The contrast between them is incredible.
 
They probably just don't want their own citizens (criminals/drug and gun runners/people traffickers) who are in the US illegally returning home, it's going to pretty hard to survive without being caught if you're an illegal with no family to take care of you.
