Hi,

I'm Looking for a 60% or TKL keyboard with cherry MX Silent switches, closer to £100 the better. I'm hoping someone can help help me decide or if there is something I've missed.

I did order the fnatic mini but ordered US by mistake so quickly cancelled and now I'm wondering if I can go down to 60% to save more space as room is limited.

It's main use is for gaming, the silent mech keys are a must. Lighting needs to be white or RGB to set white.

I notice OCUk have absolutely 0 stock of anything Ducky, are they any good? I love the aesthetic of them but not sure if they are any good for gaming and there doesn't seem to be many silent red switch options.

The coolermaster is expensive and I'll be paying for wireless which I don't really care about but it does look really nice. It's not silent red either but the reviews I've watched the low profile switch seems quite quiet.

Any I've missed or shall I just reorder the fnatic but UK layout this time!

Thanks

Hi,

Are there any others I have missed? I kind of fancy the Ducky with Cherry Silent keys but its out of stock and its a bit expensive, their are cheaper options out there but I dont know anything about them in regards to quality and they dont seem to come with silent keys on the cheaper ones.

I think I am pretty set on a 60% keyboard so the Fnatic is out now and the only keyboard I can find thats 60% with Cherry Silent is the Ducky

Thanks

I have the Ducky Mecha Mini with Cherry Silent reds and I absolutely love it!!

No complaints from anyone when about hearing the keyboard when multiplayer gaming. Find it nice to type on as well. Overall I’m really impressed with mine.

Thanks for the feedback, I noticed the Mecha Mini is even more expensive than the One 2. Do you know why?

Do you use software or do you get by managing the lighting with the FN keys?

How do you find the "Silence" of the keystrokes, can you compare it to a previous keyboard? I'm currently using a Logitech G213 which is membrane because I needed quiet but really need a small keyboard due to deskspace and they all mechanical

Sorry for all the quetions!

I'm not sure. @Metalface Mark may be able to answer this for you as he had the One 2 previously to the Mecha Mini he has now.

I just use the FN keys for the lighting, to be honest I just leave mine on one colour. I do miss the arrow keys when messing with my bios settings, but that's the only thing.

Previous keyboard I had was the Corsair K95 Brown switches and this is much quieter, the only other one was the Razer Blackwidow Elite which is very loud as it had the clicky greens.

I never thought about the BIOS thanks for the heads up. How do you get around that?

Yeah I'll only be using one colour too

You have to use the FN Key and the IJKL Keys for up, down, left and right. It's not the end of the world, that's the only time I have ever needed them. It does come with arrow keycaps so you can use those on the IJKL keys if you prefer.

In order to change the RGB lighting if just using one colour. FN+ALTGR and then press Z=Red X=Green C=Blue. Each time you press the colour, it gets brighter and brighter. 10 levels of brightness.

If you want to adjust individual keys then it becomes a tiny bit more complex, but still easy enough. Hope that makes sense.

Yes make sense I appreciate the information, arrow keys sounds fine and I'll keep my old KB just in case

Just need to decide on One 2 or Mecha Mini and then find stock

Thanks again
