So trying to find some paint in the corona lockdown

Want to finish painting the house. Problem is finding colours with all this.

Had previously used valspar B&q but they aren't doing mixed paints.

Looks like homebase is but with an 'upto 30 days delivery'

Anyone know any other options?and not those ones who charge 50 for 1L!

We had the same problem. Been using B&Q valspar and have just enough to finish a job but can’t do more.

placed an order with Homebase to do our youngest room and it was 10 day delivery. That was a week ago and no sign of it yet.

seems to be no one considers it worth selling or everyone has sold out.

We were mid renovation when the DIY huts stopped selling paint. Had to source some tins from wilko to add a base coat to all the rooms

Travis Perkins mix Dulux. I recommend Dulux Trade Durable Flat Matt for rooms and halls but the Dulux Trade Diamond Matt for kitchens & bathrooms etc.

Argos does a small selection of paints but no idea if they have stock in the current situation or what they have (still doing home delivery and/or collect at Sainsbury's).

Can you not just use B&Q and do click and collect?

Might have to go for a general colour but probably the biggest choice.

Don't think you can even get paint anymore at B&Q due to it not being essential. Like anything is essential at a DIY store. I did manage to get paint from Wickes. B & M sell Dulux paint in there stores and Wilko.

Ah ok, i've just bought fence paint from Wickes and they suggest essential items only so had assumed B&Q would have the same criteria.

There are no general restrictions on what DIY stores can sell, the only criteria is that they are a DIY store to remain open.

If they are restricting items it’s down to their own policy not the government restriction. Hence why you can get paint at wicks and not B&Q.
