Hey,

I hope this is allowed, over the past few weeks i have donated just under 900 face masks to key workers and the NHS

I did not expect the need to be so great but i get messages constantly on FB

If i can be of any help to anyone on here let me know please i am located in St Helens.

Please see www.massmasks.co.uk for info, i am doing my best

I hope everyone is staying home and staying safe!

Great work mate!

Are you producing face masks or visors? Can you upload a pic, I’m interested in seeing one.

Pretty cool you can 3D print these at home.

Hey,

here is a photo of some demo ones,

Visor, tho i also do ear savers and a couple of other items. Just these are what are required the most.

As a front line worker, thank you very much! Donations of PPE genuinely makes a massive difference.

Thanks. I know. The stories I get told are shocking to say the least.

Means a lot. Someone donated £12, was that you? Anyway I am going to buy pink plastics to make them more girly hehe :-)

It would be good if a mod could feature this for a few days maybe?

I've been printing the ear defenders for masks/ About 15/16 mins a piece, heading to the hospital shortly to donate and get them to test them out! Hopefully work ok!

Template on thingiverse.

Amazing work and as said above it will be appreciated massively. A friend of mine works on a Covid-19 ward and the stories are horrible.

My friend and I have just sent over donations for your materials, keep up the good work Chris

Bought pink plastic:-)

Thanks so much. I have been up over 24 hours so I'm having a rest

Hopefully I return to some nice news from here and key workers :)

Thanks so so much

Great work, well done.

Not to take anything away from it but I take it the reason you need the 3d printed part is to be able to switch the laminate rather than just using some elastic or velcro to secure the laminate directly to your head and then binning the whole thing.

Well done, it's not much but I've just donated.
Thanks so much. Every donation helps.

The plastic has been approved as well as the sheet. I am not sure they would allow it to be used the other way, plus the distance from.the face would not be possibly with just a elastic band.

But yea these are switched a lot.

Carers have been ditching the sheet at a rate of one per day where as ambulance crew use one per job.

Just a shout out to OCUK, I have just gave a nurse 80 of them and i have already replaced the cash spent to make them from donations on here :-)
