Hi all

I'm going the route of ITX again as i need a bit of space saved on my desk, I was considering the Phanteks Shift but then saw all the videos about temperature issues :p

The only other two cases i've seen that i like are:

NZXT H210
Phanteks Evolv ITX

  • The new case must have a nice sized viewing window
  • Budget upto £100
Thanks for any input

Cheers :)

I have the evolve itx it's my first itx build. Really liked it and it's got a h115 240mm aio in the top and a 1080 hybrid card in as well. I'll post a picture of my setup tomorrow.

Fractal design Nano S.

it’s what I’ve currently got. I’ve had hundreds of cases over the years and this is so versatile.

Good shout, I had a Fractal case before and he quality was great, How did you find the Nano S to work with in terms of cable management etc

@bakes0310 Looks good bud, I miss that case... Mine was the TG Version

It has great cable management. It has strap points, headroom at the top and Velcro straps behind the motherboard tray. The top panel is removable for air flow, window too. I’ve got a 280mm AIO and a 2080S hybrid with a 120mm radiator and 6 fans, 2 SSDs and 1 HDD. Dust filters and only £60-£65.

Can accommodate long GPU’s and ATX power supplies too.

I got a PSU shroud made custom from coldzero to modernise it a bit. I also removed the top panel and fitted the optional extra dust filter for better airflow.

Jeez that's a lot of power in a small case :p I'm glad there's a lot of space for cables to be hidden, I get OCD when it comes to my PC builds :p Another good thing is the GPU length as some ITX cases make you buy under 300mm cards

That nano build is nice, I want to do an ITX build for Ryzen 4000 and next gen AMD GPU and want to keep my ATX PSU if possible so that's interesting

Does need to be white though, air cooled and smaller than my Meshify C by a worthwhile amount

As an alternative, consider moving your PC chassis away from your desk. Long fibre-optic cable to monitor (prices have tumbled), long USB cable to monitor / hub. Job done.

Where would you consider moving it? Where do you put yours? I don't want it lower down as my little girl will end up touching it or pulling the cables :p
