Hello, I’ve played on consoles all my life and have very little experience with PCs so I would be looking for a pre build gaming PC that doesn’t break the bank in terms of cost (around £600-£700). I would like something that can run Dead by daylight on high settings (as that is my favourite game) whilst also being able to stream/record in 1080p, would something like this be possible for this price range? Thank you in advanced

(The dead by daylight requirements can be found here: https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www..../cyri/requirements/dead-by-daylight/13375/amp)

Not sure if the prebuilds on OCUK are suitable for your budget. There are ones around your pricepoint but I think you want at least a 3000 series Ryzen if you've got that kind of budget.

I could potentially spend a little more but I don’t think it’s necessary for my first PC, for no way I’m just looking for something to play dead by daylight and stream ect. Do you think I’d need to up the budget a bit to play dead by daylight on high whilst streaming?

If that's the only thing you're concerned about then you'd probably be fine with their cheaper options. The only thing is, you might have a different mind in a few months time and want to play different games. Usually best to give yourself that option but it's up to you. https://www.overclockers.co.uk/ocuk...00-geforce-gtx-1660-super-fs-1dv-og.html#t=f2 This build without Windows included could be suitable.

3600mhz ram is the optimal speed for ryzen 3000 and this is currently the cheapest kit at that speed, ideal for a budget build.

If you are going with 3600MHz then ideally you want CL16 not CL19. So unless the op is happy to tweak it with the dram calc I would probably go with a different kit like the one below.

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £77.69 (includes shipping: £8.70)

The 3600 kit would still outperform 3200 at standard xmp settings as you benefit from the bandwidth and a higher fclk. not that either would make a noticeable difference give or take 1-2 fps here and there.

Performance should be more or less the same so might as well pocket the £11. A 3600MHz CL16 would be nice but prices seem to have gone up with all the shortages. Even the Patriot Viper 3600MHz CL17 is now £109.99. Pretty sure that was 80 odd not that long ago.

So what would happen if I wanted to play my PC on my 4K HDR TV, it would take a powerful GPU to run games even if I ran them at 1080p?
No it would run fine at 1080p as its only the resolution and not the screen size which effects the performance. bear in mind though running 1080p on a large screen will mean poorer image quality.

Oh okay I understand, so gaming at 4K is what requires a beastly GPU and not the 4K display it’s self. I’m not sure which route to go down in regards to the monitor. Do you think me playing dead by daylight in 1080p on my 4K tv would look noticeably and significantly better than a smaller 1080p/1440p monitor?
