B450 Mortar Max Board

Hi all

I am looking to put an AMD Wraith Prism RGB cooler on a B450 Mortar Max Board.

At present I have the Hyper 212 Evo cooler which has packed in.

I dont seem to have the correct bracket for the AMD Wraith (I throw away the plastic bits I took off for the 212)

What are these plastic things called, I am guessing I cannot use the metal bracket from the 212 evo?

Why would you throw them away ? you could have put them in the box and put it away in a cupboard somewhere so you have them if you ever wanted to sell the board, or in the box the CPU came in, they are called AM4 retention bracket, if you are in a hurry, you'll be better off buying another 3rd party cooler that comes with its own backplate.

Just called amd cpu brackets should be enough for Google to find them
Got some in the cupboard somewhere
But in full lock down here as partners high risk category
Or would have posted you some
Some one will have some and probably only cost you postage at most

Thanks, thrown away in error. Got caught up in a pile of rubish from the build and when I realised the bin men had come.

Easily done
I keep everything lol
Got a room full of bits and pieces
But have still managed to accidentally bin something
Like I said some one in here will have some they can post you on their daily exercise run
Me I haven't been further than the garden for 5 weeks getting cabin fever lol
