Motherboard RAM speeds

This may sound daft but I don't know the answer to it.

I'm looking at getting a board that has RAM speeds listed as '2667/ 2800/ 2933/ 3000/ 3066/ 3200/ 3466/ 4000/ 4133 MHz (by A-XMP OC MODE)' on the manufactures website.

The RAM speed I have is 3600Mh and I want to know if I'll be able to run the RAM at 3600Mhz? Will that be an option in the BIOS or will I have to choose 3466Mhz? The board is the MSI Gaming Plus Max if that helps.

Once it's up and running, make sure the motherboard bios is up to date and then just run XMP (or D.O.C.P) and it should then set the ram speed to the quoted 3,600MHz

Depends on the memory controller in the CPU, 90% of Ryzen 3000 will do 3600mhz on the ram, but there is always that odd few that won't, shame we don't live in Canada lol.

Should be fine, I have a b450 tomahawk and r5 3600 and even managed to overclock the ram to 3800.
