Will this be good enough to cool just a 9900k over clocked.
Reason I'm going for the xflow rad is it will tidy up the loop and I have corsair 140mm ML fans already so will be using these .

What's it overclocked to? That chip has a TDP of 95W but with a serious overclock it could be pushing 200W.

Haven't got the cpu yet,just needed to know if the rad can handle it,may need to get another rad in the loop as well by the sounds of it then as I don't think I can fit a 420 xflow in the roof of my phantek evolved x.

If you have the money and the space then I would advise getting some more radiator.

It will be way tidy with xflow that's what I'm after,one run down to cpu then to phantek r220 res mounted at the front and as I've got the vertically mounted videocard rizer you won't see much ,

My 9900k is clocked to 5Ghz and ran damn hot. I'd highly recommend at least a 360mm, more if possible.

I'm trying to keep to a 140mm fans as I've got 5 corsair ml that I'm happy with I'm toying with getting 2 280mm rads one in the roof and the other at the front need to see if I can do this.
