I have a build in my basked but some components im not sure about.
Advise need on

Motherboard. im considering x570 Tomahawk but undecided becoz i have no understanding. Is is posible to have build in WI FI ? or thats seperate. ??

Ram, need reasonably priced 16gb ram for 3700 and mobo combo.

PSU, Need advise.

NVME, considering 1 tb unit.

G card, Tought call. red devil vs nitro vs RTX 2070 SUPER WINDFORCE 3X Hate nvidia rip off prices.

CPU Tower and cooler should be fine.
Budget around 1500.
Fak RGB, main points, Lowest Temp posible. Air cooling.

Need to consider one or two extra intake fans on the botom of the tower but not sure. Tower have 2 200mm fans. Can psu feed some air to g card?

Any advise is much appreciated. Mainly Motherboard.

Hi

The MSI X570 Tomahawk wifi is due to release next month. It will probably be around the £200ish mark. So for that you do get onboard wifi 6 (802.11ax) and a solid VRM. If you don't want to spend that much then the cheaper B450 Gaming Pro Carbon AC for £120ish also has onboard wifi (Only 802.11ac though). Still a very capable board and will easily handle the 3700X.

I would get the Super Flower Leadex III 650W over the Corsair RM for the same price. It has better internals and is super quiet.

The Gigabyte RX 5700XT Gaming OC is £50ish cheaper.

You can easily get away with a cheaper cooler. The Arctic Freezer 34 esports duo for example is great value for money.

The Team Group 3000MHz CL16 kit is £65.99. Use the Ryzen dram calc to bump it up to 3200 and leave it at that. Saves another £24 or so.

The WD Blue SN550 is a pretty decent SSD, so no issues there.

You could get a Meshify C for a bit less and still have a case with good airflow. The H500 is solid though with the 2 x 200mm front fans.

The fan on the psu is intake, so it wouldn't blow air onto the gpu. You usually mount them with the fan facing down, and the hot air from the psu then goes out the back of the case. The H500 won't need any extra intake fans. Those 200mm will provide a lot of airflow. You could stick an extra 120mm/140mm/200mm fan in the roof for exhaust if you wanted.

Of course if you are not buying until the end of Summer, then prices will change. Also there should be solid release dates for Nvidia 3000 and Navi by then. Best to do a respec a few days before you plan to buy :)

Thx for the information.
MSI x570 Tomahawk getting good rewiews on utube and does look promising. Will keep an eye for it.

I was thinking about meshify c but h500 kind off looks better and thats why its in my basket.

After a lot of reading and watching utube i learned that red devil and nitro are the coolest cards, and in my stupid head cooler means live longer. Thats why i tend to prioritise parts that works on lower temps. I might be wrong tho.

To be fair the prices right now have jumped quite a bit especially on the red devil i picked one up a few weeks ago for £389.
But i see your waiting until the end of the summer so hopefully prices should be around normal.
Just a thought maybe change the cooler to a 240 for better compatibility.
I have a 280mm aio and it was a pain to find a case where everything fit like i wanted.

Aorus is the coolest and quietest with 4 yr UK RMA Vs 3 yr EU/outside

280mm cooler have 140 fans. bigger fans can move more air on lower rpm i think. Helps with noise. H500 should take 280 radiator mounted horizontaly on top.
Im wondering if 2 200mm fans can provide enoght air.

Gygabite mobo is on my list aswell. After some reserch and utube reviews msi have an upper hand but only just.

Gigabyte is tried in the wild, Toma isn't . Only downside .
As well as their EU RMA , got a rep on here finally but will take few years to catch up on Gigabytes 3+ odd reps here .

All depends on fans with 140mm Vs 120mm , 140mm static pressure is naff, and CLC units are designed with aluminium high fin count rads etc

Also, look at Silverstone Seta A1 . Comes with dual 200mm fans , 120mm in the rear and 3.1 Gen 2 USB C port on the case , and a glass swing door

Thanks for all info.
so aorus red devil and nitro, i guess i have to flip a coin which one to get. :)

Like the psu Super Flower Leadex III 650W.

Pure Base 500DX is a strong contender. So my basked is somewhat complete and will be used as reference point. But a lot might change in 6 months. I guess ill have to stay Tuned :D

If spending that much on a 5700XT you'll get better customer service from Gigabyte, they've UK based support/RMA and even have a representative active on these forums.

The card also has a 4 year warranty vs the 3 of the Red Devil.

I'd also go for the MSI B450 Pro Carbon over that X570, put the money you save into a 3700X over the 3600.

Personally speaking, this is what I would do with a budget like yours:

3600 and 3700 have little to no difference in gaming performance for time being.

I understand that b450 and x570 is all about power delivery to cpu or something,

so buying x570 is somehow future proofing in a way. Overclocking is not gona happen.

If in 5 years i have to replace cpu i think I’ll have better performance with x570 board.

But then again i might be wrong.

Thx for pointing out warranty situation on aorus. If they UK based then we have a winner !!

X570 have better pathways for ram and power delivery but really only starts to play with 12 cores up . Zen3 end of year should push past 16 cores .

Aorus/get gabyte only brand to have both mobo and GPU RMA based in UK - by Milton Keynes.
Reps on here as well , that have been members for years
